In the second half of 2025 we carried out a feasibility study to find out if cryogenic temperatures can be applied in the recycling industry.
The findings are promising and the study showed how different electric cables can be processed through different low temperature cycles in order to peel off the insulator material. The project was sponsored by INOS – an innovation platform – in the east of Switzerland.
